Beach-side tacos. Fish tacos have been a warm weather staple among seafood lovers for years. Make them at home for a fun night in. The key to the best fish tacos is the fish. Mahi-mahi is great and known for being flaky and meaty.
- 1/2 pound mahi mahi fillet, skinned
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 4 corn tortillas
To start, combine your dried spices together and sprinkle onto your mahi-mahi fish fillet.
Preheat grill to medium heat and brush with oil before placing the fillets down. Grill for 5 minutes each side. When cooked, transfer to a plate and lightly shred fish with fork.
Heat your tortillas over grill to warm and get ready to assemble.
Fill each tortilla with the grilled Mahi-mahi, diced cabbage and cilantro. Drizzle with your favorite crema or salsa and enjoy!
