Homemade Greek food. Greek cuisine is hearty and delicious, with a large focus on meats and building flavor. I love making roast chicken with yogurt.

Roast chicken with yogurt: 

Gather two lemons, one whole roast chicken, 75 ml olive oil, two cups of Greek yogurt, three eggs, sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Wash the outside of the chicken with lemon juice, then cover and refrigerate for five hours.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and place the chicken on a roasting tray. Season it well with salt and pepper, and add olive oil. Roast for 20 minutes. Next, turn the oven down to 350 degrees and cook for 50 more minutes. Combine yogurt and eggs in a bowl and mix well. Pour the mixture over the chicken, and cook for 15 minutes.

Seven-layer Greek dip: 

For an appetizer, savor the seven-layer Greek Dip with pita bread. To make, spread a layer of cream cheese on a small baking dish. Next, add a layer of hummus. Then, sprinkle some diced Kalamata olives.

Top that with diced cucumbers and tomatoes. After that, layer with Feta cheese. Add fresh parsley, and drizzle with olive oil. Let it chill in the fridge for two hours, and your Greek night is complete. Opa!
