Artistic Cocktails

Drinkable art! We’ve all seen our fair share of latte art. Now, mixologists are taking it a step further by creating art-inspired cocktails.

We’re not talking about a simple colorful drink. Bartenders worldwide are designing visual sensations to serve patrons.

The Artesian bar at The Langham in Hong Kong uses the foam on egg cocktails to sketch works of art in the form of Vincent van Gogh’s “Starry Night.”

The Westbound in Los Angeles skips the cliché lime wedge as a garnish, and dreams up innovative finishes like edible flowers for a Hawaiian-inspired theme.

Apothéke in New York City takes creativity to another level by having a medicinal approach to their cocktails-they’re actually referred to as prescriptions. Drinkable art at its finest.

Salvador Dali’s “The Persistence of Memory” at the Artesian in The Langham Hotel.
Piet Mondrian’s “Tableau I” at Artesian.
