Gourmet crackers and cheese!
When you’re short on time and want something crunchy, I like to make my gourmet crackers and cheese. The truest of comfort foods, crackers and cheese are versatile and can satisfy every craving you have.
For an après lunch treat, try this recipe: Simply roll a log of creamy goat cheese in freshly chopped thyme, parsley, and tarragon. Spread onto crackers (I like the fig and olive crisps from Dean & Deluca), and top with sun-dried tomato slices and basil leaves. Cheese and cracker heaven!
If you’re a fan of sweet and salty, try fig, prosciutto and brie cracker bites. They’re satisfying and ridiculously easy to make. Assemble by spreading fig jam onto crackers, then top with brie and prosciutto. Pair with your favorite Merlot or Cabernet. Crackers and cheese are now your go-to simple gourmet snack!
