You’ve come to the right place!

There aren’t any exact rules when it comes to setting up a home bar, but there are a lot of things to look for when buying items for your bar. Every bar needs to have spirits, wines, beers, mixers, fruit juices, garnishes, and equipment.

For spirits, start with the basics such as tequila, gin, vodka, rum, bourbon, and scotch.

For liqueurs, start with the most popular ones such as Amaretto, Kahlua, Cointreau, Aperol, Campari, Curaçao, and Triple Sec.

For wines, get a variety of whites, reds, sparkling, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth and rosés.

For beers, get different types of beers including low calorie beers.

For mixers, get club soda, coca-cola, lemon-lime soda, and tonic water.

For fruit juices, get lime juice, orange juice, tomato juice, cranberry juice, grapefruit juice, and pineapple juice. For fruit juices make sure you buy them when you are going to use them, we want to make sure the juices are as fresh as possible.

For garnishes, get lemons, limes, oranges, celery sticks, olives, mint, blackberries, strawberries, and raspberries.

For your equipment, get a barspoon, a shaker, a bottle opener, a can opener, a corkscrew, a muddler, measuring spoons and cups, a strainer, a citrus reamer, glassware, and a blender.
