After all, it is National Oatmeal Month! Oatmeal can be made from a variety of oats, but steel-cut, rolled and quick oats have stood the test of time. Aside from being a great source of calcium and Vitamin B, oatmeal can actually be tasty. Boil one cup of water or milk and salt in a medium pan. Stir in half a cup of oats. Cook for about five minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Once finished cooking, Jazz it up with dried fruits or nuts. Toss in fresh berries, and spoon in some honey.
