Winter Margarita. I’m Anthony Dias Blue with the Blue Lifestyle Minute sponsored by CUISINART. While a traditional margarita is meant to be light and refreshing, this Winter Margarita has the body to match any cold front. To make, combine one ounce of reposada tequila, such as Vida de Louie Reposada Tequila, with one ounce of mezcal, one ounce of lime juice, three-quarters of an ounce of simple syrup and one egg white in a shaker. Shake once without ice, then one more time with ice. Strain the mix into a coupe glass if available. Don’t forget to salt the rim, whichever glass you are using. The Winter Margarita is sure to keep your mind tropical even as winter soldiers on. This recipe was provided by Esquire magazine.
